One of the main issues of Google Nexus 4 is that there is no official support of 4G LTE networks. However some of the internet sources discovered unofficial LTE support and even were able to use Google Nexus 4 at least in Canadian LTE networks Telus and Rogers. Though not officially declared  the LTE 4 support in Google Nexus 7 is indeed present in a latent state. Activation of the feature does not require any special efforts or skills.

Enthusiasts have demonstrated that despite the lack of running a signal amplifier and filter Google Nexus 4 could support 4th generation of cellular networks at least in LTE Band 4 ranges AWS 2100/1700 MHz.  Such functionality could be activated in the service menu of the device by typing the search string * # * 4636 # * # * on the virtual keyboard.

Google introduced Nexus 4 smartphone at the end of October. Google Nexus 4 is the fourth generation of smartphones sold under the brand name Nexus. Traditionally Google releases Nexus phones in collaboration with one of the largest manufacturers of smartphones. In the past, it was HTC and Samsung. 4th generation of  Nexus smartphone was developed with LG.

Recently Samsung started selling a new version of 7-inch tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab 2Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 Student Edition. In fact it is the same Android-tablet but includes Keyboard Dock and USB Adapter for the same price.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 Student Edition is available in a white color, has a 7-inch display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels and a dual-core 1 GHz TI OMAP4 processor, Keyboard Dock and USB adapter. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 Student Edition sells for $249.99. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 Student Edition runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The tablet comes with front and rear built-in cameras and 8GB of internal storage. It could be extended with flash storage up to 32GB via MicroSDHC card slot. Google Nexus 7 tablet has only one front camera and does not have options to expand storage.
On other hand Google Nexus 7 comes with more powerful quad core processor, high resolution 1280×800 pixels display and runs on the latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Google Nexus 7 supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC versus to Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 and IR port of Samsung Galaxy Tab 2.
From our point of view both tablets are good for their niches. Google Nexus 7 provides very good performance but missing some important features such as rear camera and storage expansion slot.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 Student Edition comes with 2 cameras, storage expansion slot and keyboard dock. All of these features could be very useful for students
