ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity 700 tablet comes with 10.1-inch 1920 x 1200 pixels bright display. The tablet is powered by quad-core Tegra 3 processor and running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity 700 tablet is featured by 32 gigabytes of internal memory, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0 and HDMI micro-port. In addition the docking station of the tablet comes with keyboard, USB 2.0 port, touchpad and a slot for SD memory cards. The tablet could run up to 11 hours on the battery without re-charging. nVidia is developing a new powerfull hardware platform for tablet computers and smartphones – Kai. The heart of nVidia Kai platform is a third generation of Tegra processors. The platform has “4+1” architecture. nVidia Kai powered by 4-core 1.5 GHz Tegra prosessor and the low-voltage co-processor. Graphics is managed by separate GeForce chip. All of these features expected to provide extreme power to mobile applications running on modern communicators such as smartphones and tablets. The price tag on the platform is quite reasonable. The cost of mobile devices running on nVidia Kai should be in the range of $200-250. First devices running on nVidia Kai platform may introduced at the end of 2012.
