LG is developing a flagship smartphone powered by  4-core processor and 2 GB of RAM. According to multiple internet resources LG is planning to release F180 in candy bar form factor in September.

The LG F180 flagship smartphone powered by 4-core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor integrated with graphics accelerator Adreno 320. The smartphone comes with 2 GB of RAM and 5-inch touch screen with a HD resolution of 720 × 1280 pixels.

There are also built-in rear 13-megapixel camera, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n adapters for wireless communication and microchip NFC. The battery capacity is 2100 mAh.  The smartphone will be able to work with fourth-generation LTE mobile networks. The LG F180 smartphone will run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

Taking into account above mentioned technical details of the device it is safe to position the device as mini-tablet because of the size of the screen, power of the processor, amount of operating memory and other capabilities. Most likely device will compete with Samsung Galaxy Note. The next generation of Samsung Galaxy Note – Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is also coming soon.
