Today on the special event LG introduced the new flagsip smartphone – LG Optimus G.

LG Optimus G powered by 4-core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor and has 2GB of RAM. Built-in flash drive has a capacity of 32 GB. In addition to such a powerful hardware LG Optimus G comes with large 4.7 inch high quality True HD IPS Plus touch screen display with resolution 768×1280 pixels. Display of LG Optimus G is built using Zerogap Touch that is similar to the latest Apple iPhone 5 in-cell technology.

New LG flagship smartphone equipped with two cameras: front 1.3 megapixels and rear 13 megapixels camera with Smart Shutter function for adjusting the shutter speed.

LG Optimus G comes with wireless Wi-Fi (802.11n) and Bluetooth 4.0 adapters, GPS receiver, NFC chip, USB-port and a standard headphone jack. LG flagsip smartphone supports 2G/3G as well as LTE mobile networks.

The battery of LG Optimus G smartphone has capacity of 2100 mAh. LG claims that the smartphone could run up to 15 hours while talking and 335 hours on standby without re-charge.

LG Optimus G runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. There are some new interesting features available with LG Optimus G. QSlide Function feature allows display of two application windows on a single screen simultaneously. Live Zooming and Screen Zooming are useful features for scaling of screen and images. Dual Screen Dual Play feature may display different images on smartphone and TV at the same time.

Sales of LG Optimus G start next week in Korea.
