Kingston SSDNow E100: robust, enterprise-class solid state drives
Enterprise-class drives are released in 2.5-inch form factor and using Serial ATA 3.0 interface for connecting to a computer. DuraClass and DuraWrite technology ensure stable performance and reliability of Kingston SSDNow E100. According to the manufacturer, Kingston SSDNow E100 ten times more durable than conventional consumer drives. Claimed average time between failures (MTBF) of the device is 10 million hours.
SSDNow E100 series includes models with a capacity of 100, 200 and 400 GB. They provide the read and write performance up to 535 and 500 MB/s, respectively. 100 GB drives can carry up to 55 thousand I/O operations per second (IOPS) in random read mode of 4KB of data blocks, and up to 83 thousand per second while writing. For modifications of 200 and 400 GB figures are 59/73 thousand and 52/37 thousand.
Kingston SSDNow E100 comes with a three-year warranty. It is currently available for the price starting from $437.79 for 100GB model.
