According to some internet sources Samsung is going to expand Galaxy Note family of tablets by releasing new 7-inch Galaxy Note.
Currently Galaxy Note family of tablets includes popular 5.5-inch mini-tablet Galaxy Note II
and 10.1-inch full size tablet Galaxy Note 10.
Both gadgets equipped by touch screen and special S pen for easy control. S Note application is capable of making notes and drawings on the top of the content of the web browser as well as photo and video materials.
The new 7-inch Galaxy Note most likely powered by 1.6 GHz Exynos 4412 processor and comes with 1280 × 800 pixels high resolution display. New Galaxy Note may run on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system.
Although the screen size of the new Galaxy Note is not known the majority of analysts expect 7.0 or 7.7 inches touch screen display. The appearance of such a tablet would fill the niche between mini and full size tablets of Samsung. There is a lot of competition on 7-inch tablets market. The most successful models are Amazon Kindle Fire and Google Nexus 7 are currently leading in this segment.
