According to Soluto 13-inch Apple MacBook Prois the best laptop that could run on Windows 8 operating system. Saluto is the company known by cloud service helping to test computers focusing on testing of the operating systems.

Soluto research is based on statistics of the 150 million notebooks in the period from January to March 2013. The evaluation criteria included the number of crashes, hangs, and “blue screen” for a week and the average boot time.
MacBook Pro typically comes with completely different operating system. Windows 8 was installed on MacBook Pro without any other third-party software.
Soluto analysts recognize that the comparison of indicators notebook with a clean Windows and Windows with a pile of pre-installed applications is not quite correct. However, their goal was to compare the real situation were a normal user buy a new laptop.

Toshiba has introduced a new premium brand of Retina laptops – Kirabook.
This is one of the first notebooks powered by Windows 8 and with Retina-like high resolution display. Kirabook is equipped by 13.3-inch 221 dpi display with resolution of 2560х1440 px.

Dual screen Taichi ultrabooks by ASUS became available for pre-orders a few days ago.
The main eature of Taichi ultrabook is the presence of two displays. The first display has traditional location on the laptop but the second display is located on the front of the lid of the laptop. Both of them are touch screen displays and therefore Taichi could act as a tablet at the time when the lid is closed.
Taichi ultrabook comes with two 11.6-inch Super IPS displays with resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. There are built-in USB 3.0, mini-DisplayPort and micro-VGA connectors as well as NFC module. Apple presented a new thin MacBook Pro laptop with Retina screen on Monday, June 11 at the WWDC conference in San Francisco. The new MacBook has 15.4 inch display with resolution of 2880 by 1800 pixels at a density of 220 pixels per inch. The laptop models powered by quad-core Intel Ivy Bridge processors Core i5 and Core i7 with frequencies of up to 2.7 GHz (up to 3.7 GHz in Turbo Boost mode), up to 16 gigabytes of RAM and up to 768 gigabytes of flash memory. Graphics of the new MacBook is managed by GeForce GT 650 M video card.
The new MacBook Pro equipped by SD memory slot, HDMI, USB 3.0, Thunderbolt, and MagSafe interfaces. There are also the multi-touch trackpad and backlight keyboard.
The new MacBook Pro could run on the battery power for seven hours. The expected price of the laptop is $2199 U.S.
Apple also updated MacBook Air laptops. They also powered by Intel Ivy Bridge processor, could have up to 8GB of RAM and equipped by better performing graphics card. Prices on MacBook Air are not expected to change and will remain in range of $999 to $1099
Acer introduced the new premium class Aspire S7 ultrabooks. Aser Aspire S7 line of products presented by 13.3 inch and 11.6 inch ultrabook models.
They are positioned as one of the most thinnest and compact models of ultrabooks. Exact release date and price of devices is not yet disclosed because of dependencies on the release date and cost of Microsoft Windows 8 operating system.
